I received my BA in History magna cum laude from the University of Maine. I received High Honors from the University of Maine Honors College for my Thesis entitled The Grand Dérangement in the Context of the Eighteenth-Century British Empire. I then earned my MBA from University of Maine Business School. While pursuing my MBA, I was a graduate assistant,and inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB. I then went on to earn my JD cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law where I served on the Maine Law Review, as a Student Attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic and did an externship for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). I was a Summer Associate at Unum where I rotated through various parts of their legal department in Portland, ME, Worcester, MA, and Chattanooga, TN.

I was sworn into the Maine Bar in May of 2015, the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Maine in June of 2015, and the Bar of the United States Tax Court in December of 2016,

I worked for a Registered Investment Advisor for almost two years before deciding to go out on my own as a solo attorney. At the same time, I enrolled in the LLM program at the University of Alabama. My GPA in the program is currently 3.5 and I expect to graduate in May of 2018.
